BEN
ZOLNO
PRODUCER / AUDIO VISUAL ADVISOR
The purpose of Zolno’s work is to
encourage people to grapple with vital questions. Through the mentorship
of Al Maysles and Barbara Trent in New York, he has helped make
documentaries that did just that, and came to Hollywood to seek
larger audiences in narrative cinema.
He finds OUTSPOKEN to be a very important film, which asks the vital
question: In the face of so much opposition, what makes an anti-Iraq
war protestor feel the need to speak out? OUTSPOKEN is a look into
the inherent struggle of activist leaders that will fascinate both
the “left” and the “right”.
